Coach Michael “Fedora” Long
Coach Fedora started his combative training at the age of 13 as a competitive wrestler. He has trained in various martial styles for more than three decades including Kun Tao Silat (with Willem de Thouars and Guru Mathew Cohen) and currently Danse de Rue Savate with Professeur Paul-Raymond Buitron III in theU. S. and Europe. On his journey he was compelled to find effective martial traditions from the west which led him to Danse de Rue Savate and Catch Wrestling. He holds the instructor rank of Coach with the International Guild of Danse de Rue Savate as well as serves as a regional counselor for the Guild. He is also holds a Level 1 certification as a Catch Wrestler with Scientific Wrestling.
